About Us
JCR Horse Transporter was established in 2023 and based in Nottinghamshire. Having gained a Certificate in Professional Competence in July 2023 followed by being authorised by the Animal & Plant Health Agency, my small business became active, allowing me do what doesn't even feel like work, transporting horses to various locations under numerous circumstances. Including horses moving between different yards, being transported to and from the vets, new horses being taken to their new homes as well as being transported with their owners to the beach and local shows.
The service prides itself on provided a high quality standard of service, which includes a clean, jet washed box after every travel, punctual and reliable service at competitive rates.
Quotes are charged at £1.50 per mile to and from my base (NG15 6QS) plus £20 per hour for the drivers time, additional support will be provided where possible such as loading, waiting with horses whilst you walk the course, grooming etc, however the minimum quote charge is £75 to ensure all overheads can be maintained.

Payments & Availability
JCR Horse Transporter does offer payments online, by bank transfer or cash if preferred. Online payments can be made via paypal or using the SquareUp app, I have to confess Im not a genius with the SquareUp yet, so bare with me if this is your preferred payment method.
Although, JCR Horse Transporter is competitive in pricing, I do not yet offer price comparison rates due to the initial overheads of a small business, including insurance, promotional and advertising costs, however loyal customer will never be disappointed.
Booking slots are available online or via the 'Spaces' by Wix app, available in your app store. Although my availability hours are advertised between 10am and 7pm, I can be available for emergency, short notice or additional hour journeys. However, please message me for more info on availability if required.
Please note, by additional hours I am referring to MY availability and not the horses. I will not provide transport for more than 8 hours for any horse, due to welfare as well as licensing authorisation restrictions. I also only transport within the UK however DO NOT transport to Northern Ireland.
'Hassle free experience from start to finish. Lovely van.. I really liked the set up of the box (it had a 'wall' rather than breast bar/no chest support at all) and that my pony was being monitored on camera throughout the 2.5 hr journey. The van super clean, no stale stable smalls as is often the case. My pony loaded and travelled brilliantly on this van, and there was plenty of space for my camp stuff, saddle, tack etc. Good communication from Jodie, competitive pricing and local. I would not hesitate to book with JCR again.
